Default Sticky TBW

I have a 2021 Street Glide
Started noticing the throttle is really sticky. Like when the bike is off and I twist the throttle it doesn't snap back. Actually more like goes about half way and stops. It's easy to turn. I can roll on throttle it's just not snapping back.

Is it supposed to snap back. Haven't had it long. I have a Heritage Softail but it's cable and it snaps back easy.

I'd know how to fix the Heritage. Little cable oil in the cable.

But what do you do for TBW? I have a service manual and can't really find anything about this in there

Anyone ever have this problem?? How did you fix it?

It’s in warranty. Take to the dealer.

Make sure your throttle grip is not push on to the handle bars to far. There should be some in and out play. If not it's time for warranty work.

This is the first thing to check, if its not this, then maybe take it and have the dealer fix it.
The only time I have had my throttle not "snap" back I had the throttle grip push in too much after I switched out switch packs, and didn't check it before I tightened everything up. Check it by moving the throttle grip a bit side to side, you want just a bit of side to side "play", like a 1/16" or just anything really, just so you know its not rubbing or binding on the inside of the clam shell.

Take a T25 and T27 and loosen the bar clamp and clamshell bolts. Wiggle the clam shell around to make sure nothing is hung up. Takes about 30 seconds.

If the clam shell is not clamping down on the grip, and the grip has not been forced into the sides of the clam shell, it's probably the TBW internal return spring which is warranty work.

Bought bike used from private owner. No mention of any warranty. I will call tomorrow.

I was thinking of loosening everything up but I am sorta unfamiliar with TBW. Helped a buddy change TBW handlebars once had no problems.

Surprised there's nothing in the service manual about it and not much on YouTube.

I'll check tomorrow if it's all jammed up too tight on bars. Hope that's all hate to take it in for something like that!

Thanks yall
