Trust me, the camera does wonders for the appearance.
The sales guy told me if I do the deal, he would have their detail guy spend a couple days on it before I took it home.

The tensionors and the fact it is fuel injected is what has me shying away from it.

I I were to trade for it, I would want to either do the cam tensioner upgrade to include the oil pump or go with gear drive cams. I no longer want to do **** that involved myself and for sure don't want to pay someone to do it. Hell, I've gotten to the point I don't even want to do **** as simple as an oil change. I still keep putting off installing the Thunderheader I bought back in May.
That is what made me decide to stop looking for anything older than an Evo recently.
I'm starting to think I probably just need to get laid and life will make sense again.

I've bought 2 new and one used Ultra at Pig Trail and they'll never get another penny from me the number of times they've ducked out of warranty work or gone back on their word.
I suppose that's any dealer though.

As far as fuel injected, If you haven't had one, try it. Sure is nice, especially in winter.

My Indian was FI and it worked great.
I just don’t like having to get the bike “flashed” or hook it up to a computer every time something is modified.

It was a seller's market for awhile now.....

However, I've been looking to buy another bike. As such, I have talked to a couple dealers lately... both were non-HD dealers. They admitted that the market is already changing, and prices are coming down... The higher interest rates and status of the economy, will affect the discretionary purchase market.....

Neither dealer was prepared to sell for what I was willing to offer.... both admitted they "probably" had a little too much into the bikes in question. Both offered to sell it for what they had into it (so they claimed)... and one even claimed to be losing $46 on the deal..... but they were still both over what I was willing to pay....

I agree with @hattitude, if you can wait a while, I think you'll be getting a nice "instant" rebate at the time of purchase. A plus is you've got a bike to ride currently.
