Default Value?

06 Ultra Classic.
60,000 miles which is not an issue as far as I’m concerned.
What do you think is a fair price?

I’m not an expert on 06 but if they had tranny issues I’m sure it would have broke by now and fixed correctly with the mileage on the bike, looks like a nice clean bike for the year from the pic.

Would you buy something already, IA? I've purchased three bikes since the time you started looking for one. Focus. LOL!

FWIW JD Power says retail $6545-8610 but I think you should be at the low end of that or better when I compare to my recent purchase of a 2009 UC with 24000 miles and in clean condition.

I could be wrong, but didn't the trans issue start with the first six-speeds? I had an 06 and didn't have any issues with the trans. If that matters/helps. I did do a 34-tooth trans pulley, which helped that bike get along greatly on the highway.

Didn't bother me at all that it was a "measly" TC88. Put some Andrews 21 cams in it and a good tune and it had all the power I needed. Would consider the tensioners though. At 60-clicks of the clock, they're surely ready to change out, possibly for the second time. I went with a SE hydraulic cam plate and never looked back. My 05 Springer already had the plate and cams done, so that was a big bonus for me!

If you were going to hot rod it, the 06 was right at many of the improvements, as I understood it. Either way, it should make for a great rider!

As others have said, I believe $6,500-$7,000 would be fair and $5,000 would be a deal in your favor, for sure. IMHO.

Good luck!
