Default What is saddlebag connector part called?

I feel dumb even asking this but, I have an 07 road king classic and somehow I’ve lost one of the clamp/connector things that the saddlebag pins 1/4 turn lock into.

here is a picture, does anyone know what it’s called or what the part number is? Thanks.

Do yourself a favor and get some of these to replace those pin type connectors.

I went with the plastic thumb screws RK Classic recommended to replace my OEM fasteners.

In my particular case, they failed. The plastic broke, and I had to go to a hardware store to buy a bolt to get me home.

Based on what I read on HD forums, I went and upgraded to the modern HD bag fasteners. The new ones are a great design and of a sturdy build.

After 26 years with the stock quick type fastener, I must ask; what’s the advantage to using a threaded clip?

I like the dzus fasteners. They take no room in the bag and are easy to remove/replace. Just check them for snugness once in a while, although mine have never been loose. The new ones are sturdy but take room and snag your stuff taking it out. The only guy I know who lost a bag had replaced the dzus with bolts and the bolts backed out and wham-o went the bag on the pavement. My experience, I know there have been issues.

From getting stolen without even opening the bags, also from falling off while riding down the road.
