I believe it depended on the year of the bike. I think 2012 and up had longer stock wiring. At least that was the case for the batwings.

So is it OK to let the front brake master cylinder hang upside down for a little while? I’ve got it in a crown royal bag and tied to the triple tree so it’s not hanging by it’s own weight but I cannot get the line to stay at the bottom of the master cyl. I’m trying to not get air into the lines

it’ll be fine. It’s a closed system.
