T-Bars and Risers Question - Sbob
Question is I am 6', and have decent reach with long legs. Trying to decide whether to get 12 or 14" T bars (looking at burlys or bung kings prob) or should I go with a 10" riser (bung king with drilled for internal wiring) and then a set of biltwell tracker highs prob or reg trackers? That way it would give me a little adjustability for reach/wrist angle, however minimally it may be? Not necessarily wanting to change out any cables, I know banjo fittings can be bent if need be.
Any of you veterans already been through this trial and error before would be kind enough to save me some cash and make the right decision from the get go?
I determined my choice of bars by sitting on my bike with a broom handle, closing my eyes and putting my hands where I was comfortable for riding. My old lady measured the width and height from the tree and then I searched for bars matching that measurement. I knew I wanted less than 3" of pullback so it was pretty easy to find the right bars.
Then again you could always get 12" bars and if they are too low, get a 2 inch Wild1 Chubby riser kit or the 1.5" kit from bung king. Don't disregard width and pullback, having too much of each made my ride uncomfortable.
Yea for sure. The pic is me on the bike w stock mini apes. Dont remember if I had to roll them twds me or further away when I bought it. And theyre abt 10" i believe and the built in riser was abt 2". So somewhere theoretically in the neighborhood of 12.
I def dont want wider than 28-29. The burlys are 29"W with 4" pullback. An inch or half an inch I can always cut off the ends to narrow them up a hair.

I personally have the factory apes ever so slightly forward, and I am looking at the Bung king 12in Bars myself, But they have slightly less pull back and are a little more narrow.
