Before doing the cam with torque baffle installed it sounded good, louder when wide open throttle. I removed the torque baffle an found the sound deeper and a bit louder at idle with no noticed change in riding performance, so left it out.
After cam change to S&S 475, very loud without baffle installed at idle and the short ride I did weather permitting was loud for my taste at cruising speed as well. Reinstalled the torque baffle and tamed the sound a bit, able to cruise and hear radio alright. Performance I noticed a feel of more roll on torque with torque baffle installed as well, so keeping it in. Is a bit higher pitch than I prefer but not enough to chase changing based on that. I like the pipe and would buy again knowing what I know now.
Will likely get it tuned on a dyno when the weather allows here in MN.
