Default Batwing Vindikta HoopTeeze Bars

I have a 14' ultra that I've had several sets of bars on through the years. Most recently I had 16" LA Choppers Twin Peaks bars. Last year I also added a 22' Road Glide to the garage. One of the things I immediately noticed is that the RG had a much more controlled feel, more flickable, dives into corners better, etc... It was the bars. I have FXR Division Motorwitch bars on that bike. They are both shorter, and narrower. So... I took the leap and ordered the 14" Vindikta Hoopteeze bars for the Ultra. Link to bars There was a 6 week or so wait, but I got them installed this past weekend and man, what a difference. Bike is way more controlled, more flickable than with the tall bars. Did have to do some sanding on the fairing where the bars exit to make clearance but nothing major. If anyone has considered the bars, I do recommend. For me, I've always hated wide bars, that's how I ended up on the Twin Peaks. But the even narrower Hoopteeze in a shorter height gives much more enjoyment and control. I'm 6'6" and am happy i got the shorter bars on there.

I also found
this install kit this install kit
extremely helpful in pulling the wires, especially with the aggressive bends. Took maybe 5-10 minutes to pull the wires through both sides. I did find
this wire loom this wire loom
which would be even less expensive than the kit. I'll order the spool to have on hand for future bar changes.

There isn't much out there on the Batwing Hoopteeze so I figured I'd just drop a brief "review" here to maybe help someone decide to try them if they were thinking about it.

Glad you like them.

Everyone is different. For me it’s about comfort and look.

The Road Glide alone is usually considered more responsive with the lighter front end weight.

Thanks, I like them a lot. Most comfortable bars I've had. Great hand placement and ergonomics. I'm sure the looks are not for all, but i'm more of a function over form.

The reasons you went with those bars are the same reasons I went with MX bar and risers. My bars are solid mount with internal poly bushings at the base of the bar clamp, so there is no flex to be felt at all.

My question to you is, did you change out the rubber bushings and if not, are the bars still somewhat squishy feeling?

I had already changed to poly bushings on my prior bar change. They flex a tiny bit when you try to move them, but nothing unacceptable.
