Looking to buy a chopped tour pack for my 2020 Road Glide but the Harley oem chopped tour pack is 2 grand. What are some good aftermarket chopped tour packs to look at?
Advanblack is good or you can take a chance with the TCMT or similar from Amazon. Just make sure they have free returns listed because they seem to be hit or miss. I have been very happy with mine from amazon, after putting a little blue loctite on it.
What color you after? Had mine been black, Advanblack would have been my choice. Mine is Scorched Orange / Silver Flux, I bought the color matched from Harley-Davidson for my 2020 Glide, complained about the price for a day and then been enjoying its quality everyday since.
if you don't need colour matched, i have put the cheapy ones from amazon on 4 different bikes and other than cheaper latches (go OEM), and you need the structural plate, i have not had a problem with them at all
These are the exact parts I got about 2 years ago. They have survived many thousand miles without any issues. The vivid black paint is a good match and does not feel thin or flimsy. The latches are much better than the latches that came on earlier models. I bought a chopped pack about 6 years ago and it was flimsy and had bad latches, the new ones are significantly improved.

The vivid black from Harley used to be half the cost of the other colors. On the Harley website the chopped vivid black is $1009.95. The king in vivid black is 1066.95.

Mine is vivid black but I still went with HD. I bought backrest, king tour pak, rack, lock, torx pan, and liner under $1,700 after 10% off. Just added luggage rack on Sunday.
