Those are the same ones I have.

I sold them while still on my bike after ordering another set of the Eye-talian shocks last week, and I told my riding buddy we’d put them on his bike and check the sag. He doesn’t ride nearly as much as me, and I sold them for a screaming deal as a friend (half price with just 2k miles), so he’ll be happy.

They ship with the preload cranked down just like in the Ohlins picture, which I thought odd and questioned them at FM
From the ohlin website the 775 is 311mm (12.5") stroke is 79mm, just a bit over 3". The spring length to get the prescribed rate 26N/mm is likely to be around 180mm hence where the preload screw ends up.

Anybody ever deal with Kevin at Big Bear Performance? After Howard passed, I sent him my front forks with Ohlins cartridges in them and also my Ohlins rears for rebuild/refresh and he seemed to do a decent job with a quick turn around. They sell ALL kinds of Ohlins suspension parts and service. Might be worth a look........

Thanks for checking that.

This is good to know I guess, because I thought, “Maybe the Ohlins I got didn’t have the travel I was expecting because of the model I ordered.”

Anyway, it’s not like I think they stink, I just like the Bitubos better. I think they are a well kept secret. And I am comparing apples to oranges somewhat since I am going back to 13”. I just liked the stance of my stock Road Glide and figured I’d try to maintain it, but at 6’3” the 13” shocks will be just fine for me. They worked great on my ’20 Street Glide.

It doesn't matter I doubt whose shocks you buy so long as you get the correct spring rate in the first instance.

When I was looking at Bitubo for the ones I was interested in there was 7 different springs available.

This will be my second set of Bitubo 13” rears. I’ve spoken to the person who sets them up at DK Customs for every order. Seems very experienced and knowledgeable. Plus it’s not the only brand of rear shock they sell.

They say they get the rears in one spring rate from Bitubo. And beyond that I am getting above my pay-grade. Just sharing what’s been relayed. They work for me, and the price and availability are great, so I’ll just roll with it.

If I was to ever buy another set of Ohlins I would get them directly from Ohlins USA.
Thats where they need to go for the $300 service anyway.
Been down this rode with there piggyback shocks.
For the price then a couple services I can buy two pairs
of RWD or Fox shocks and have a better ride.

Who told that even Ohlins the last I knew only had two spring rates for the bagger shocks.
