I’ve change my bearings in my neck and I installed new forks. Can anyone tell me if the top of the fork is supposed to be at a slight angle like in the pic? both sides are the same way.
Different bike but on mine the fork is equal all the way round. That looks like the yoke is possible at an angle.
When I did mine it was just a case of having all the pinch bolts loose when I installed the fork tubes and everything just lined up.
Did you do the stem bolt up to some high torque first and then back it off and set the lower torque per the manual? Did the race go in square and bottom out properly?

I forgot to say what it was on. It’s a 2014 Streetglide Special, but to answer your question yes I installed the tree bearings, race, stem etc per manual instructions.

normal, up a little higher than spec, but the angle is normal...
Yep, I went back and pulled the service manual out and did the measurement method, so it should be correct now and the picture in the manual also shows the fork at a slight angle, so hopefully everything is all lined up and ready to go. I’ll give it a test run tomorrow and see how it does.
