01 Electra glide won’t turn over

Default 01 Electra glide won’t turn over
I have a 01 Harley ultra classic Electra glide won’t turn over. I changed the battery. When ignition is turn the turn signals flash and red key appears and reappears randomly. Changed the key fob battery. Checked the fuses. Any ideas?

Just spitballing here…. Frayed or disconnected security antenna?
Did you check for any codes thrown?

Is this a new bike to you.... or has the security been working well all along, and this just started after the battery change...?

Not trying to be insulting, but I want to male sure you realize it's an active security system, not a passive one...

no not a new bike to me. Bike ran fine no problems at all. I went on deployment for 9months and it sat and the battery died so I changed it and now it won’t start

yes I double clicked the button to unlock the bike with the fob

Are you saying that when you double click in quick succession it does not unlock the security?

Also the battery for the fob was just changed and the motorcycle battery too?
Was the motorcycle battery changed while the security was armed?

Was the motorcycle battery changed while the security was armed?
it flashes the the blinkers once and doesn’t seem to do anything else.

and it is quite possible that it was armed when the Mc battery died and I changed it yes

Did you think of using a battery tender?
