Default Connector ID?

I can't find this connector in my manual, does anyone here know what's it's for. It's not connected to anything, just plugged into a dummy/mount. One wire is 5 volt switched, the other is 12 volt switched. I'm looking for a 12 volt switched wire for a trigger wire for a dash cam setup I'm installing. This plug is forward of the tray that the ECM snaps into on top of the battery of a 2019 Street Glide Special. I used it, but I'm not sure it stays constant switched. Thanks.

NM, finally found it. Purge solenoid connector for CA bikes. Probably not a good source for 12v switched power.

I would think it would be fine for the task provided the circuit and fuse meet the load requirements.

I thought so too, but the camera shuts down after a period of time. This makes me wonder if the ECM cuts power if it senses a constant draw for a certain period of time because it doesn't want the purge solenoid running more than XXX minutes. Just speculation on my part as I really don't know. I'm moving the wire to an amp trigger I used in a prior stereo setup. If this fixes it, I'll know. If not.........

Headlight circuit, or cigarette lighter circuit is what I tapped to add dash cam, and USB plugs, add about a 2.5A in line fuse.

Great tip, thanks. I just finished wiring it into the old amp trigger wire, but I'll be doing a friends bike next week and will check out those options. The charger receptacle might ne a good option because I think it goes hot when on accessory power.

^^^ the “charger receptacle” would always be hot. That’s why you can connect a battery tender and have it maintain the battery with the ignition off.

To bring this full circle, that wire in that plug I originally asked about would have been just fine. Turns out the DVR module in the camera system I installed was defective and would constantly reboot every few minutes. I installed a replacement today and it seems to be OK now. Fingers crossed, I'll give it a long workout tomorrow.

I'm not so sure my wife cares for it much, haha!
