2015 CVO temp light, tried everything
IM STUMPED
What's up everyone, new to the group .i was always able to find answers to my questions here but haven't found a fix solution for this problem...So i have a 2015 street glide CVO i have a thundermax tuner and a 2 into 1 d&d exhaust.. bike has 17000 miles and last fall temp light came on and then eng light. So i came here to search for all your expertise. I know there are many threads about these 2014 to 2016 water/cooling pumps being a issue, So engine code is p1019 ..So I bought the newer cooling/water pump and installed (fairly easy job) took for a test ride and 10 to 15 min into ride lights came back on..So went to dealer and bought both sensors ,cooling sensor and eng temp senor , installed both sensors .I took it for another test ride and same thing ,both temp and eng light..So what i noticed is the fans are not coming on when im riding or at a idle (even for 10 min) So i tested the fans with engine off and ignition on and holding throttle open for a few seconds and fans will turn on,but wont come on when while riding. I checked fuses. I swapped relays, i checked all plug connectors. I purged system again and took for another test ride and same results ,temp and engine light and no fans ....i only have fans when i do manually...Please Please Please help

When you did the manual test, did you validate that your pump is ok?

I have a trip planned june 1st with my buddies to upstate New York Americade , im starting to panic I would gladly pay someone to fix but i called all local dealers and no one can even think about looking at it til mid July ....Please im counting on someone here to save my trip

Since you have a ThunderMax ECM installed I would contact them for proper test procedures as it may be different than the normal HD way. The ECM controls when and how the fans operate so your best answers would come from ThunderMax.

updated info, i found a local shop that is a certified thundermax tuner. so he lowered the temp to 160 degrees for my fans to turn on from stock 220 degree. He was able to see the temp history and told me my bike is not overheating. He emailed thundermax to ask about a possible solution to temp light coming on and throwing a po1019 code ( heat difference ).. with the holiday weekend probably won't get a answer till next week. he also checked all the ground connections on bike but still have light coming on.
