Question Raising handlebars

Got a 2022 Street Glide and thinking of raising my handlebars about 2" for a more comfortable reach. Will all wires, throttle cable and clutch need extending or might there be enough slack. If so, other than the clutch extension, and maybe throttle, thinking of doing my own. Y
our thoughts?

On my UL, I installed the Khrome Werks 2+2 bars. The throttle is more than long enough, the controls wiring was just long enough, I had to extend the heated grip wiring. The clutch cable just barely made it and the front brake line was fine.

You should be good to go without needing any extensions for bars at oem+2” up to a 12” aftermarket bar - the most you might have to do is snip several tie-wraps currently managing the cables and wires under the front fairing and some gentle re-routing - check out KST Custom handlebars install videos on YouTube - they have a couple handlebar install videos that show in very good detail the entire process - very helpful for all mechanics.

you should be ok, I bought mine and had help from a fella who'd done it many times before.....we coulda made it work without the extension, but because we had it, it made fishing it through the neck of the bike a little easier...i did like you did and just went a little higher with 10's

Thanks all, I have taken a look and raised my stock bars and it doe seem there will be no longer cables needed. Am interested to see how 12" bars will work with my reach.

Default Raising handlebars

Well got my new bars, 12" with a 6" setback and pointed tops by V-Factor. It was a battle but got there I hope. I think the clutch cable and break line will be OK but it will be close. My throttle by wire cable is OK but also close and there was no way the left or right cable connections, had to lengthen them at least 12".
