That is ridiculous.

The starting circuit has nothing to do with any computer.

Charge battery, take it to an auto parts store and have it load tested.

Remove battery cables, clean terminals and the surfaces they connect to.

Clean connections at starter relay and starter solenoid.

check connections at battery, doesn't take much. While there, clean them and retighten.
