Starter question
The starting circuit has nothing to do with any computer.
Charge battery, take it to an auto parts store and have it load tested.
Remove battery cables, clean terminals and the surfaces they connect to.
Clean connections at starter relay and starter solenoid.

I have a 2006 Ultra Classic and ran into this problem today. I went to start the bike after a short ride and when I got on the bike I bumped the start button while it was in gear. Bike only moved slightly but when I went to start it, I had no power. I switched the ignition switch off and on and after a minute or so got power back, but when I hit the starter switch I could hear the bendix of the starter click to engage but would immediately lose power again and the engine would not turn over at all. Just the sound of the bendix clicking and loss of power. I got the bike started by bump starting it down a small hill and while riding home, the voltmeter was showing 14 volts. I'm thinking it's the bendix or solenoid of the starter. The battery is 2 yrs old, and when I got home, the bike would start using the starter switch. Any suggestions?
