You messed with the computers head i would pull the positive cable off and drain the Elec system by grounding the positive cable let sit for a couple minutes put back and should be good

Bike only moved slightly but when I went to start it, I had no power. I switched the ignition switch off and on and after a minute or so got power back, but when I hit the starter switch I could hear the bendix of the starter click to engage but would immediately lose power again and the engine would not turn over at all. Just the sound of the bendix clicking and loss of power. I got the bike started by bump starting it down a small hill and while riding home, the voltmeter was showing 14 volts. I'm thinking it's the bendix or solenoid of the starter. The battery is 2 yrs old, and when I got home, the bike would start using the starter switch. Any suggestions?
