The Harley Davidson Low Profile Touring Solo is very comfortable.
It will lower you an inch and take you back an inch.
I've had one on my Street Glide for years and have made several 500 mile trips with no worries.
Seems like this question keeps coming back. I you narrow the inseam it will lower your stance. Un-staple the seat cover, carve with electric steak knife and re-staple cover. Takes about and hour and anyone can do it. Or pay some guy 200 bucks,Lol.
I agree with this.
I removed some foam off the top of a seat once. Thought that would get me more flat footed. Just barely. Then I trimmed the sides so my legs were not so spread out, much better. Now I sorta wish I had not removed the foam from the top.
I have returned a Mustang seat that I bought from Dennis Kirk, I had one on my bike for about 10 seconds, put it back in the box, called for an RMA, and shipped it back the same day. They refunded me very quickly, no issues.
you may want to call Russell Day Long, they make a "sport seat " that you may like. I have not personally rode on one but one of my neighbors has one and he loves it.

I had a Sport seat on my BMW R1200RT and a full-on RDL for my Goldwing. My direct observations are the two seats are virtually identical quality wise, and differ in that the Sport doesn't have the beefy leaf-spring internal suspension and doesn't have a lifetime warrantee. The RDL was much more comfortable in my opinion.
The RT image shows the Sport seat but bear in mind they carved that one out as much as possible to accommodate my short legs and tall RT seat height and you can see the obvious difference in the padding level. They do build the Sport seat custom to your specs just like the RDL and they are great to deal with. I have a build date coming up in a couple of weeks for an RDL for my Road King and I'm stoked.
