Well that is it for me. No more HD FORUM. What a bunch of losers that sit around and wait to bust on someone. The whole point of the post was the lack of response. Over and out.
Yeah, don't blame you for leaving. Bunch of losers. It's too bad, you've been a member since 2009. Straw that broke the camels back, I guess. A guy can only put up with so much. They were pretty mean.
...on the road, miles from home, dealer won't drop everything to help a traveller out, I feel your frustration, it's BS. I'd vent too.

Just when I was feeling bad that I didn't realize that the 2020 SGS I traded my '22 Heritage in on 3 weeks ago doesn't have the TPMS feature with the angled valve stems. Apparently TPMS only came with RDRS that was still an optional add-on in the 2020 model year but after reading this thread I'm kind of glad my bike doesn't have it! LOL!

Peak riding season and dealers are busy, parts are flying off shelves, service departments are booked.
I dont see it as a dealer issue. They didnt leave you stranded. Thats really what matters when it comes down to it on a trip like that.
Last year the shifter shaft on my riding buddies Ultra stripped out while we were in Yellowstone. We nursed it to Beartooth HD. They werent going to be able to get him into service for a couple days but did have the part. We changed it ourselves in the parking lot and rode on. Fortunately we were able to make that repair ourselves.
Things happens on the road. A bad TPMS sensor would barely register on my give a **** scale in a trip like that, I wouldnt spend the time and would get it fixed when I got home.
Look at the bright side, what if you had bought an Indian?
Ok it has been pointed out many many times that i was complaining about a petty item. My apologies to anyone that I may have offended. Now stop beating me up.
I know how you feel mitchflhx, I am on many forums and sometimes I get beat up also. For me , I just try to stay civil and take comfort in knowing that over the years and many forums I have participated in that people have helped me save a ton of money on various projects by pointing me in the right direction in diagnosing a problem. In my limited, non-expert opinion, Pirate 4X4 is the worst forum out there and currently the only forum I will never go back to.
