Is this normal?

I have two bikes..., both with highly modified motors - at operating temp..., and at idle - neither show any appreciable (if any) oil pressure (both have actual oil pressure gauges)
Had me worried when I first seen it.., it's normal
ETA - pressure is not important with these motors - volume flow is

I believre the pumps changed with 96" motor.
I believe its in the manual somewhere, is a spec for this. Not sure.
