All you need to do is remove air supply line bolts from top of tubes. Remove tube cap bolt. Spring has tension so be ware. Remove tube assembly. Take tube assembly you bought and remove top cap. Slide bought assembly back into place on trees. Install top cap bolt from original tube. As stated do not cross thread. Reinstall air supply bolts.

100% agree on the micro-fiche on the Ronnie's site. However, if the air fitting and the fitting on top of the tree are the only 2 things removed you won't be dealing with the fork spring.
O.P., if you're going to keep this bike and do your own work a Factory Service Manual in worth its weight in gold.
I do know a guy that has one almost identical that's a 04 and he was amazed at the fact I have 2 separate lines to fill one for front one for rear. I'm assuming maybe they didn't do this many years as not too much info out on it
Now to slide this out it looks like the area between the top cap and the slide is held by a collar that's attached to the frame I'm a little confused how to do this. The other models I've saw videos on state loosen the pinch bolts and just crack the top cap loose and you can pretty much slide out this looks like that can't happen with it being totally collared in on frame maybe I'm missing something but is there anywhere I can download a repair manual or where to buy one
