What year bike? My 2018 spews about 1/4 cup via the home made trans cover venting system, hot day, 300 miles. The ‘system’ is a hose fitting into the engine venting passageway in the RH area transmission cover, hose up to a Triumph metal PCV reed valve under the seat, and the exit hose routed back to a catch can tied to the chunk of metal between the rear RH saddlebag mount and the fender. My air cleaner is an S&S open element that is vented outside and exits under the frame, it drips a bit but not like it did before adding the big vent aft. My 2018 has the original oil pump no shaft/bearing seal thus the “spew” out the vent. Buddy has a 2021, open air cleaner, stock head vents inside the filter, no misting no oil dripping from his air cleaner since his came stock with the revised pump with seal.
My setup sounds a bit much but I was sick and tired of air filter oil drips all over the RH side of the bike and my leg, then oil under the bike from an open vent tube, then oil mist on the back of the saddle bags from the open trans cover vent tube. So, catch can it is unless I get the gumption to replace the oil pump and add the seal.
I’ve never had a sumping problem and the motor revs real easy with instant throttle response. Highway gas mileage 49 to 50 with a stage one tune & stock exhaust.
Mine is 2022 Road King Special 114 all stock. I experience oil accumulation over 2000-3000 miles till the point it occasionally drips. I will have video on what I found on my YouTube channel which lead to cleaning air filter shown in next video so I am thinking trans cent would be next logical step.
I just ordered one way valve from Amazon that I used before and proven to be effective. I also wonder if I really want to install filter on top as I will install one way valve almost on really top of the hose and expect only air coming out anyway. I plan to combine this with 7/32 ID hose for clean look as I feel hose like that can flow all the air in the world that will be created by this engine internal pressure. I have hard time to justify 350$ for something I can achieve after spending 30$ on. Sure it wont be as pretty as Trask but I will make it look pretty. Plan to document whole procedure on my YT channel just waiting for parts.

Several guys have done this and there are threads on the procedure. I got a Trask for a great price two years ago. Works well. I also vent my S&S Stealth back plate to the atmosphere. Intake track is clean now. I get no oil drip from either venting that I have done.

Meanwhile my bike is a real money pit now ,....so that last 350$ for that fancy Trask vented cover couldn't save me anymore
