Default mirrors

Hi

I have a 2016 Ultra limited

I am using the Split Vision Mirrors to help with blind spots.

I’m wondering if there is a bigger mirror that also has the convex spot

Get any size standard mirror you want and get some stickon round convex mirrors from any auto parts for a couple of dollars. I have been doing this for years on several Harleys. And you can put them where ever you want on the mirrors. I can see completely behind me.

I'm 6'7", 36 inseam, do I sit tsll. And now on a police seat. I'm working on mounting mirror on the windshield trim Harley sells. On my 2002 I had a pair that I liked. Used the Kuryakyn Scythe mirrors. When mounted they are as high as as wide as long stemmed poluce mirrors. I have to make a screw in adapter because the mirror mount doesn't match the windshield mount. Will handle that today.

No offense intended but relying on mirrors to eliminate blind spots will get you killed. I monitor my mirrors always for traffic awareness but prior to any maneuver, I turn my head and physically look to see if that space is clear. It’s an ingrained habit that I even use in an automobile.

Lol for 30 years I thought my mirror was something that worked for stop signs and traffic stops. My new modern bike, 90 softail, actually had two of them but I can’t see anything in them either.

love it when guys would ask me what rpm I’m at when going through the traps… my best answer is I think about 5600-5800…lol can’t see the tach either.

Thanks for the suggestion of getting stick on round convex and adding them to the mirrors.
I've done it to my pickups through the years. I was just wondering if there were larger mirrors.
I'm always looking in my mirrors. to see what is around me. I always turn my head first and look when I change lanes . But I also constantly look in my mirrors to see what is around me in case I have to more over quickly. I also mentally plan on what i will do while I'm riding and sense something may be a problem. Since I've been doing it for a lone time, (my first bike was in 1970) I don't have to force myself to do it.
Thanks again for the responses

mike

I run split visions on both my bikes.
But I did have to add mirror extensions
To get better use out of them.

I totally agree. Don't rely on mirrors... turn your head.

I saw one of these
wide-angle mirrors wide-angle mirrors
on a Bimmer R1250GS a while back. I swear you can see everything from side-to-side.
