I have a line on a killer deal for a Screamin Eagle 103 out of an 03 Anniversary SE Road King; this is the stroker kit they bolted on the stock 88” case with the larger jugs, higher comp pistons and SE ported heads…will the stroker crank/flywheel assembly, pistons and cylinders bolt into and into my stock 96” case on my 07 EG Standard without major mods? Looking to build a little 100+HP engine on a budget…Thanks!
So he gains nothing by splitting the cases and swapping cranks........
Planning to upgrade to Timken bearings in my current case, upgraded and welded crank and a Darkhorse compensator. The 103 jogs, pistons and SE heads will all bolt on. The ported heads alone are worth the price of the engine I’m getting. Also comes with a SE cam plate and larger oil pump.
Already have SE-255 cams in my bike and also a larger 58mm throttle body/intake manifold ready to go on.
Correct.
You could accomplish the same by boring your existing cylinders
Got it, however the SE heads are alone worth more than what I’m paying for the engine. Cylinders and pistons are in great shape so should be a simple swap over, the entire engine was removed with under 10,000 original miles and has sat since.
