Default 2023 SG St

So just picked up a 23 street glide st brand new. Have about 75 miles on it, last night I picked up some kromewerks 4.5 slip ons and a tuner since the 117 comes with the heavy breather. Rode to gym today, probably 15 min ride and I turn off and there’s some white smoke out of the right exhaust. Bike seems to run fine I’m wondering if it’s the wd40 I used to help get them on? Will that dissipate or will I need to yank and clean it?

I’m hoping , was coming out both after the ride home and def smell something. How long would it take for it to burn off. Maybe the tune didn’t take and it’s running rich? I mean it runs great over the stock config from my butt dyno

You must’ve used a lot of wd,take it for another ride. I’ve always used anti seize on mufflers .

If it persists I assume you would return the bike to stock before taking to dealer for possible warranty work. And by persists I’m thinking a good 50 mile ride.

I'd at least get it threw the break in period before I started to worry about it .

If its been tuned with anything other than the hd tuner any warranty he had on the drivetrain is gone whether he puts the stock tune back in or not. The digital technician will see it. I thought this horse was beat to death 5 years ago?

15 miles isn't a ride, go for 100 miles, and open it up a couple of times, that will settle the new mufflers in a bit. Any short ride in cool weather can cause a wisp of smoke out the exhaust.
