So been troubleshooting (avoiding) for as long as I could on this issue .
I had my stock head pipes O2 bungs replaced to fit the wideband O2 sensors. The front plug was too close to the case and damaged slightly on install earlier in March. Ive lived with it all summer but now that Im in (mostly) for the winter, its time to fix it. FYI, only a problem if it gets wet, it quits working.
Heres the problem. Harley sells a replacement O2 sensor, about $350. More than half the cost of a complete replacement of the smart tune pro setup which comes with a new brain and two new sensors. I cant find a cross reference for the HD sensors, but appears the Bosch 17025 sensors might work. Any one been down this road and knows what works?
TLDR; need a replacement wideband O2 sensor for the Harley Smart Tune Pro. I dont want to pay dealer price for a rebranded sensor. Anyone know if the Bosch 17025 works or have you used something different with good results? Its the front sensor.
Wide band O2 sensors are pretty much the same.... They all have pretty much the same wiring too...
If the Bosch sensor number you show, has a "connector" on the end that will attach to the harness on the smart tune pro module, you should be good to good...
I once replaced an O2 sensor for my DynoJet Auto Tune Pro module... I replaced it with a look alike Bosch wide band O2 sensor from the local auto shop, and it has worked flawlessly...

Thank you for the heads up. I figured that would be the case. Find a LSU 4.9 O2 sensor and dont look back.

I recently purchased this tuner second hand and one of the wide bands is bad, I was curious if you found a solution instead of paying $300+ for the replacement from Harley. Thanks!
I'll be curious about how this goes, as I agree, you shouldn't need the Harley sensor, and any wide band sensor should work. So find a narrow one that fits in the oem hole, and you should be good to go. At worse, splicing in a wiring fitting to match up, which I've done before without incident.

Look forward to the updates in this thread.
I dont think this will work as most wide bands are 5 wire that I can find and the ones that come with the tuner are 6 wire
Maybe this one. Different part number on the connector but looks identical. It is the connector that calibrates the sensor. The wires on the Innovate are probably 16" longer. I have both here and will follow up after I try it. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/inn-38880

Awesome! Please let me know if this works, I appreciate it

I started this thread and I apologize I didnt follow-up sooner.
the Bosch 17319 is an exact match to the HD wideband O2 sensors. I have over 5,000 trouble free miles on one. Picked it up at Advancedauto for around $70.
