Default 2012 Tri Glide Front Brake line extension

My wife has a 2012 Tri Glide non abs. I put a set of reach handlebars on and need to extend the front brake line by a few inches. I was having an issue finding the correct parts so I contacted the HD Dealer to order the Clutch cable and Brake lines.
The dealer ordered a new brake line extension, full kit from MC to Both Calipers.
Drag Specialties
Part # 1741-2626
Drag Specialties Brake Line - Front - +6" - Touring - Stainless Steel - 1741-2626 - Speed Addicts
This does not fit. You can not even mount this , the hard tubing is not correct, if you place the block at the mounting point they do not clear the tree at all, and if you line up the Guide pin and mounting hole, it is turned at about 20 degres off.

Everything I read and search says this is the correct part. It looks nothing like the one that came off, although since the bike was purchased used, from a dealer, I can not say what was on there was stock.

Can anyone shed some light on this for me. I am at a loss here. This should not be that hard to find the correct parts. The dealer is no help at all.

This is why I go to a local hydraulic shop and have new brake lines made. Perhaps you should return that kit and have some made.

I was trying to avoid that, I live in the middle of nowhere, there is probably not a shop capable of that within a hundred miles of me. Probably the only drawback of living out here.

According to this Dennis Kirk link, it’s the wrong part.

Ah, gotcha. Although I'll ride 100 miles just to get a burger 😂

You can try the closest Indy shop since they deal with Harley aftermarket companies.

I believe this is only required for ABS systems. I am about to change the brake fluid on my RK with ABS so I will have to deal with that on it. I have read that you can do it without the computer if you change the fluid by using vacuum, and not letting the MC go dry, then go ride and brake hard a few times to engage the ABS, the do a second fluid change. This makes sense to me but maybe someone here knows better.

That looks more like the one, unfortunately they are out of stock everywhere, and DK states may be Out for extended period, more than 90 days.
I did however find and order this, it was hard to find in stock as well. Looks like it will work with an extended brake line.
