'14+ gloss black TP hinges, C'MON HD, REALLY???
So I recently picked up a chopped TP and since my bike is pretty much blacked out, of course I had to replace the chrome hinges and latch.
Bought the part, $213.95 plus tax at my local dealership. Always supporting my local HD dealership.
I start by replacing the two hinges. I then go to take out the latch and catch part out and I notice this kit DOES NOT come with the catch on the TP lid. REALLY, WTF????
That part is not seen while the TP is latched, but when I open it, there's a long ugly chrome piece.
There are other kits out there that are half the price and come with the catch. Unbelievable!!!!
I partly blame myself, I should have looked everything over before installing, but c'mon HD, REALLY???
I just took a bunch of parts to the powder coater, now I have ONE more that I need to get done. F'n crazy!

$2K VS. $140? And still have to change out the chrome latches and hinges. That's what you call karma? lol

The chrome piece can be easily powder coated. with the savings you had, it's not a big deal.
