Hey all,
I have a 2012 SG and I just switched to the progressive 412 shocks. My idiot self didn’t measure the sag before replacing the old with new. So now my question is:
is there a “stock sag”? I’m about 150lbs and my wife is about the same. So about 300lbs on the bike. Wasn’t sure if this was something I would be able to adjust based off “stock sag/length” or if riding it and adjusting accordingly would be best.
don't worry about how much sag you had on the stock shocks (if any), but go by what progressive tells you you should have for sag on the shocks you purchased.
Progressive recommends 1” of sag from full extension. Measurement 1 should come with the bike on a jack with both wheels off the ground , next you need to adjust to get 1” of sag with you solo on the bike and then get your adjustment to get 1” with you two up

thanks in advance!
Michael, if you do much 2 up riding, should probably upgrade to better shocks, like the 944’s. These don’t have adjustability from what I can see, did you get the standard or HD Springs?
