I really liked my Avon Cobras. The day after I got back from Sturgis last year I went in for new Avon’s but they were not available. I ended up with Metzler’s, we will see how the miles compare. I got over 10K before that bald spot showed up on the Avon’s in just over 3 years. I don’t look at date codes as they are used up before they get old - I must be doing something right 😉

2015 Road King here with mostly rural and mountain riding in CO. I change both tires every 15-17,000 miles ( about two years). Happy with Dunlop American Elite.

Changed at 15k, 30k and last month at 47k. Dunlop had a $60 rebate in March. May still be offered. It’s worth checking their website.
