My 2022 Ultra Limited is at the dealer for service and one of my windshield screws is stripped, so I had them look at it (one of the shorter ones on the left side). They called and said they can’t replace just the screw and to fix it I need a new fairing.
That CAN’T be right can it??? Anyone have any experience with that? Even if it’s the little brass bolt IN the fairing that’s also stripped, that can’t just be replaced? Seems like the entire thing should cost about $10. I asked the dealer if they can just retap the brass and or just replace the screw and they said no.
I have the same issue, except mine is not stripped but cracked. It's the same left side. I'm looking for solutions and how to mend it without buying a new inner fairing.
