Those brackets that come with your hogtunes amp shouldn't bother those alloy art brackets one bit.

So you both have the inner fairing bracket.
I'm about to install a power amp. that will mount on top of the OEM radio.
I assume this will add stress to the OEM bracket.
Is there room for my amp with the bulky plastic brackets?

From viewing the video I suspect that the brackets for the amp will NOT fit as they are designed to mount OVER the factory brackets, which are flat. The thicker Alloy Art brackets are going to be too wide to install the bracket as shown BUT you can probably get them to go BETWEEN the AA brackets and the body of the radio.
The amp brackets will spread the AA arms out a bit, but shouldnt be a problem.
Unless I was starting from scratch, I would likely just use their Velcro to mount it on top of the radio though, as getting access to the radio bolts is a test of your tool set, finger dexterity, peripheral vision & patience.
