Be sure after that finial oil level check to top off to full when motor is hot and instructed on dipstick. (on the stand..hot oil ect..)That will give you some extra reserve. When it got low, it was using a lot more.
Keep an eye on it. It's probably a long way from worn out if you keep good oil in it and full.

There is nothing wrong with what I said. Adding that small amount is not going to cause more oil to be pumped into the crank case. And it's sure not going to be splashed there.

I agree. It's been spoken about on this forum for years not to go to "full" on the dipstick.
