As far as the rear brake light switch ... It seems to me that there is / was a automotive brake light switch that could be used ( in a pinch ) on the HD's as well ... Anyone remember this ??

Did that 2 maybe 3 times in the past always a rear switch
Carried the switch into a parts store , the guy behind the counter went in the back and came out with one.
It fit and worked fine. Been to long to remember specifics or even which bike.

It could happen

Been there done that also. Switch is a auto part available at any auto parts store.

I pushed the bracket in towards the motor case to get more air space to the switch, wonder why HD didn't do it on the recall
