No, still does it but again, only seems to do it when we are together. I haven't noticed it solo this year. I have wondered if it has something to do with the Custom Dynamics units I have on the bike, Head lights, turn signals etc but it should effect both head sets then. I need to take the GF's head set on my helmet and see what happens.
One thing is, I would like to update the hardware but I have a Macbook Pro. They have an update that is supposed to work with the Macbok but I have never been able to get it to work. Very frustrating to say the least. I also didn't do any updates when I installed two years ago. The whim works fine most of the time if I follow the process to get everything to pare up. Just the crackling is annoying at times but it's not constant. also have wondered if my headset wires are to tight. Bit of a pain to take the Shoei Neo Tech II back apart.

I think hes talking about updating the WHIM. To do that you need windows software.
One thing you can do on a Mac is use. I believe its called Wine its a Mac app that lets you emulate windows to run the applications.
