Hi all! Just put a set of the BUB Klock Werks double back true duals on my 07 Street Glide and holy crap! what a huge difference in performance and sound.
I had th V&H classic slip-ons on the stock pipes and just switched to the Klock Werks pipes with the V&H mufflers and it feels like I gained a ton of power.
I always hear that you lose power with true duals but this is not the case with these at all.
I just put them on my 04 flht, and switched from V & H duals. To me they look, sound, and perform great. Now I have been told by a tech guy at another site that they are causing a MAJOR exhaustbottleneck in them and robbing me of tons of power, but to tell the truth, I just don't feel that I am. My bike runs every bit as good as it did before I put them on, and they look cooler.
Yeah I do not believe that at all, I had a huge difference in performance.
I noticed you have Wild Pigs mufflers, Do you like them? I have been thinking of trying them but was wondering how they compare to V&H on the sound.
PhilM just yanked his off and is finally going back to his Fatcat.............he probably would have given you a heck of a deal on them.
Steve
It's a wonderful day!
All bs aside, if ya'll think those pipes make you bike run better... you should try a quality 2into1 some day. You'll **** your pants!
In comparison, I TOTALLY lostlow end torque we I went frommy FatCat to the KW;s. The KW"seems strong when ya get to 3k RPM, becuase it sux below that and when ya get to 3k it actually works reasonably well.
For the record, Bryan was kind enough to let merun the KW's due to aclearence issue with the R&R camplate and my FatCat. now I have a resolution to the clearence prob & WELCOME BACK Mr. FatCat!!!!!!!
Does anyone know if the KlockWerks Doubleback Headers will work with the Reinhart mufflers. I currently have the true duals from Reinhart, but like the way this headers look better and would like to make the switch.
