I'm in the middle of a stereo upgrade. Haven't given much thought to my battery until lately. I put this Deka in my 2012 CVO RG on April 1st 2016. I'm not real religious about my battery tender. I try to remember to plug it in, especially over the winter. I don't have a heated garage either. 8 years+ in North East Ohio. Still starts the bike every time, but it seems to be dropping voltage. My radio made a horrendous pop when I started it to leave the gas station (ignition in accessory mode so I don't have to wait for boot-up) then no sound and the screen went blank. Shut the bike off, started back up fine. I also noticed my odometer clock was flashing 12:00. I'm gonna let it retire, I don't need left stranded someplace. Now the decision in what battery to get to replace it.
I'm tempted by the YUASA with it's 500cca. Harley is 405cca, Deka is 400cca. YUASA seems to be getting some bad reviews lately. But guys here on the forum still swear by them. Can't find them to purchase online. Searched for the YUASA model #GYZ32HL. Results come back as "USA-Made Motocross Platinum GYZ32HL AGM Maintenance Free Powersports Battery". I'm gonna look for another Deka...
One of the electrical supply houses we use out of Pittsburgh is a Deka dealer. They have the ETX30L in stock. Hell of a discount over retail. It'll be on the truck delivered to our shop tomorrow morning.

So what was the discounted price?
I just purchased one delivered to my door in Virginia; $149.xx includes Virginia sales tax.
Just curious

Reason: battery
Is that a way for people to sell YUASA online? Doesn't give me confidence I'm getting what I'm looking for.
Yuasa makes a number of batteries for others and remarks them.. You can tell by the finger slots and terminals that it's a Yuasa. From what I can tell they been under the gun to make more.. They build for back orders first.. 6 months ago, you couldn't get the GYZ20HLs. Covid really killed the supply chains..
