I have a 07 Electraglide with the 110. Brother fried my ecm jumping the battery. I have a thundermax ecm but it came off a 16 road glide. Has anyone attempted to splice the 3 port ecm hookups on the 14 to 16 touring jnto a single port? Is this even possible. I'm an electrician but not a mechanic. Yeah I kmow u can buy a new ecm but I wiuld love to use my thundermax. I appreciate the help.
I can't imagine its doable, but I'd ask Thundermax before trying and possibly daming it. They do offer one for you model, but they aren't cheap. Perhaos you could see the one you have to help with the purchase.
Sell the TMax and get one made for you bike, especially now with Black Friday coming up. I got mine from Fuel Moto on their Black Friday discount few years back and it was a killer deal.
Harley sells jump packs. Wonder why it fried. People say to not have donor running. But I have never got one to start without it running and revved up. Maybe short clean tight cables would help
Car is only producing 14.4 volts. Though maybe the newer ones that generate on demand, not sure the term, are higher and an issue? They turn on and off based on load now, not like the old cars.
