I have a pretty extensive kit that I carry all the time. It is made up of tools specific for my bike that I got at the pawn shop for about .30 on the dollar.

This is the tool kit supplied with my bike. If I'm not mistaking, every bike purchased had some type of tool kit to go with it. You may want to check with a dealership on this. Someone may owe you some tools.

Off the top of my head: The HD standard tool kit plus a small ratchet, common sockets, Gerber tool, extra set of spark plugs, wire ties, SAE Allen set (ball ends), Torx sockets (Âź-drive), tire plug kit, and a small electric tire pump. Probably forgetting something, though.

Although I bought my 02 used from a dealer, tucked in the Saddlebag was the HD tool roll, and it looks like its never been used.

There is a great toolp kit that you can get that has everything you might need for any emergency and repair plus some extra goodies. It's called Wind Zone. I'll be damned if I can remember where I saw it though. I love it.
