Default New Engine mount ?

I noticed on new bikes there is an additional brace on the front cylinder to the frame. Is this in response to the wobble/rear steer condition? I read on this forum somewhere about the need for 3 mounting points to stabilize the bike. Just curious if anyone knows why and how the new mounting works, and could it or should it be retrofitted to older bikes ?

Default RE: New Engine mount ?

Hi, the top motor mount was moved on the Baggers because of the new six gallon tank, there was no room for it under the new deeper tank.
