Relocate batwing mirrors
Hours of scouring the 'net (including here ofc) reveals essentially two styles:
(not sure why the forum thinks I want these links obfscated to something so blatantly useless)
The first is available from dozens and dozens of manufacturers, in a wide variety of prices, all of which are essentially the same thing. This style generally has flexible mounting options, but has two main problems in my mind:
1. It looks flimsy (even when it's hundreds of dollars), which means vibration may make the mirror largely useless. I have seen multiple reviews that call this out specifically.
2. It's too long, which makes it much more likely that vibration will make the mirror useless.
The latter is largely only available from Pingel. That style looks solid and moves the mirror much less, both attractive options for me, but it also has two main problems:
1. I can't find any information anywhere about whether one MUST mount them down. I'm fine swapping the mirrors, which should let me mount them pointing up, but I don't know if that's possible.
2. They're straight to plaid expensive. The more something the costs the more demanding I am of its performance. I'd expect a mirror on this bracket to move no more than without it, and mount precisely how I want it to mount. If it doesn't, I know very good machinists that could make a set for around this price.
I'd like to see what others think of either of these styles, and maybe find out if someone knows of a style I haven't found yet.
Thanks for your time...

My left elbow doesn't straighten out more than 75% from an old injury so being able to keep it bent and pointed down taking weight off it really helps a lot.
I also had 4" risers with a 2' pullback, wish I could duplicate the position of those grips on my bagger.
The bars on my 2019 FLHT pretty much suck for me, it's the only comfort mod I haven't addressed yet because I just haven't been able to find what I'm looking for.
(man that FX pic was a long time ago lol)

The Best of Harley-Davidson for Lifelong Riders
Was posting about stuff done to my bagger here: https://www.hdforums.com/forum/touri...l#post21934024 and mentioned this thread. Since I can't seem to get the post ID of someone else's content, buel95's suggestion is the next one after that.

Hell even the stock mirrors on the handlebars vibrate at idle, once you get a load on the engine they are fine.
