DO NOT use rain ex! I ruined my OEM windshield with it. Novus works well. A wet towel or a old tshirt soaked and kept wet for 20 minutes or so will loosen all that stuff up and you can use a microfibre cloth and water to gently clean it. It works even on our Florida Love bugs!

After washing w/ H2O I apply some Harley Gloss. Works great.

I use Zooke to clean and polish, especially on a trip. Just carry a small spray bottle and a microfiber rag. Works for me and repels water fine.

I use that s-100 detail spray and buff off with a micro towel. Cleans the bugs off and puts on a nice coat of polish so fiuter bugs don't stick.

Regular old blue carwashing soap from Walmart in warm water always takes the bugs off of my shield (takes them off of my whole bike actually). Use a sponge then dry with a m/f towl...good to go. Don't even need too much elbow grease on those critters.
