For total removal of coating..
The coating is very hard.
It requires extensive deep sanding for removal.
Then higher grades of sanding to remove created sanding marks.
Then a significant amount of polishing to smooth it out.
The edges are very difficult to control too.
A very lengthy process and in the end the nigh time & in the rain view will expose numerous imperfections since depth of sanding is hard to control.
