How clean is your primary oil?

if your oil looks dirty, then its doing its job. if your oil is looking clean, then all those contaminants have gotta be somewhere, if it isn't the oil, then guess where?

The primary in all my Harleys use 15w40 diesel oil and gets changed yearly.Total mileage is usually around 10-14,000 miles per year. However, one year I ran 22,000 miles on it in before changing it. The oil is always dirty, but that is ok; because it is doing its job.
