Previous owner had a folder of receipts of his maintenance for the first 10 years.
Nothing in the last 7, I don't think it was used much in that time.
The HD Dunlop tires look great but I crawled down under there and took these pictures of the dates
and tread.
Date code says they were manufactured in 2016 and 2017.
Some sources say 6 years some say 10.
Would you replace these tires right away?
Yes, I agree, I know it is.
But like how much you spend on tires and helmets it has to be balanced. Yes my life is worth a $1,000 helmet - but I don't have one. ($200).
"They" (especially the helmet manufacturers) say 5 years for a helmet - they say the materials degrade like a tire.
Do you all adhere to that rule also?

How they're taken care of is important, of course how old. They look taken care of, heated garage maybe, not road in heavy heat?? If so I'd run them for awhile. They are damn expensive + install.
