Personally I'll stick with the genuine article but a friend of mine did buy an S&S clone carb and it's a dead ***** accurate copy. So far it's working fine and only time will tell if it's made from quality materials or from cheap chineezium.
Well I think ill try one of the chineesiom knockoff carbs.yeah I know ya get what ya pay for but what the hell. can always use it for a paper weight thanks Heyman ill let you know how it works out

I bought a Chinese knockoff for my lawn tractor 4 years go, fit up and function great frankly runs better than the original ever did. The choke arm fell off the choke shaft this summer, weak swage epoxy fixed that. No leaks.
I can't speak to the Harley carbs, but those Chinazon carbs for Honda and Yamaha have been great IME. Even the one I put on my 4K generator was set perfectly, the frequency on the generator output was spot on. I was shocked.
Will be interesting to see how they do on a Harley
I've read great things about the Amazon Mikuni knockoffs, and also my John Deere pages all highly recommend the cheaper Amazon ones.
I reckon they all probably come from the same factory anyway, some of the ones on Amazon probably just failed QC for appearance reasons and get sent to the other distributors.
