Default Non-ethanol gas while traveling?

For those non-ethanol gas fans, how do you locate non-ethanol gas? PureGas.com is the only site I have used previously. But it is customer reported and I find it is not always accurate.

Is boat fuel still non-ethanol? AV-gas was always too high in octane and price.

As you travel west of the Mississippi river your going to find you don't have any other choice and findin 91 octane is the best you will find and not always unless you locate some race gas.

Because I live in CA, (for now), whenever I get my bikes dyno'd, I have a fresh tank of 91 octane with 10% ethanol in it anyways, but always wondered while riding in other states what benefit, if any at all, would running ethanol free pure gas give me? Does being dyno'd with ethanol make any difference?

I normally use Shell gas and the larger stations I've come across normally have at least one pump for E0 gas. Many of the Sheetz stations also have a pump for E0. But if I'm running low, my bike doesn't care too much if I get E10.

Basically the bike runs better and gets a little better mileage. A gallon of Ethanol does not have as many BTUs of energy in it as pure gasoline does. There is a Sheetz in a town down the road from me that has an ethanol free pump but it is only 90 octrane. Tried it one day in my 114 and got awful spark knock. Most every station around here has 93 octane ethanol which my bikes like just fine. If I am near one of the stations that has ethanol free 93 octane I can tell a difference from the ethanol 93, but not enough to make me run to just those stations.

It would be interesting to see a dyno test of E10 VS, pure gas. Can't get pure gas near me, but the few times I have found it while traveling I seem to feel a little more power and fuel mileage is a little better. I'd be surprised if somebody hasn't already done a dyno test of this. Anybody know of a link to a test?
Edit: found lots of e-gas vs pure gas for various cars, but not for Harleys

Honestly, when on a trip. I just look for the highest octane to be found. A couple gallons of less than desired fuel ain't gonna hurt anything.

I look for the proper octane, for sure, but just as important, if not more important, is that it's Top Tier Gas. I've gotten 93 octane at a Mom & Pop gas station in BFE and it sucked hard all the way thru that tank full! Part of that may be because not that many people in that area paid the higher price for the 93 and it just sat in the tank for ??? years.

It is also called REC90 and can be found at stations that fuel boats, atvs and the like. I can get it in Michigan where I live. Also in Wisconsin. I noticed in Iowa they have 87 super and 87. The 87 is no eth. They call the corn enhanced 87 super. Nebraska, Colorado, Utah, Wyoming all had no eth versions. I personally run no eth everywhere I can. If not I run premium. Iowa is the only place that has two grades of 87. They were all Casey, Minnesota you find the Kum and Go, I think they had corn less gas.

I can`t feel one iota of difference between ethanol and non ethanol in any of my 3 bikes.

Riding eastbound across Nebraska this past summer it seemed like every pump I pulled up to was non ethanol premium, and the gas stations were surrounded by cornfields...

The same for I-90 westbound Minnesota to Montana, plenty of stations had non ethanol.
