I ride a 2009 Road King and every once in a while it will throw me an exhaust actuator code. Today it was two to do with the actuator. 3 or 4 times in 4 years.
P1475 Exhaust Actuation Position Error P1477 Exhaust Actuator Open/Low
as far as my searching online and on the bike I dont have one. (Canadian).
Could there be another reason that the codes come up?
I believe the wiring harness & connectors are present on all models whether the device is present or not
Perhaps a fault in those wires ?
I`m guessing here
Canadian model might have it, US would not. Running stock exhaust or aftermarket? Lots of info on Google from guys in Australia that deal with it regularly, seems like they all get rid of it and then have to trick ECM into not looking for it, good luck.

thanks. That could very well be. Ill check it out.
Have you owned it since new? Is it possible it came from the US market?
Ive only had it these last four and a bit years. The speedometer default is kmh judging by the size difference of the lettering but cant say it isnt from the US

its stock. Ill go search out some Australian stuff, thanks for the directional assist.
Get a "Trick-Box" and get rid of the darned codes.
Many riders here in the EU have it installed to keep the exhaust valve in the stock exhaust open and to avoid throwing codes, if running an aftermarket exhaust.
