I agree with the gang here, those with the problems speak the loudest, and those problems are exagerated sometimes. Only problems I have ever had with my bike are self-inflicted, 30+K miles now running better than ever.
Now don't get me wrong, that Vision is fugly! but, pick up this months American Iron and see what Cory Ness did to one. I dare say it looks pretty "cool" for being what it is........
Think what it will cost with that one piece rear-end? No rails just a bunch of plastic. I only good thing I can say is at least its made in the USA (Ithink). Is this the vision into uglyness?
I am having second thoughts after hearing all the problems with the new touring bikes.........
What are "all the problems" you're referring to? I only have 4,300 miles on my '08, but I haven't had the first problem yet. Maybe I'm not looking close enough.
Drove 2 07 bikes last year,20,000 in the last year between the two.Traded andjust bought a 08 and have around 2500 hard miles on it and no problem.
If you are scared buy a extended warranty.

I am having second thoughts after hearing all the problems with the new touring bikes, so before committing to that kind of purchase I thought I would at least look around a little.
We have two 07 bikes and they are great bikes. We did have an issue with one of them but MOCO stepped up and handled it. Having a problem with the bike is not a problem if it is corrected. As someone said, the problems may seem like many but that is usually whypeople post. To either get help or vent. If you take all of those and pull out the problems that do not get corrected, you even have a much smaller %...
for every one person that has a problem with their HD touring bike I will show you 500 that don't have problems at all. Sometime I think people are hypochondriacs *sp* when it comes to their bikes.
*nods* Agreed.
And the new Victory Vision's aesthetics may not be for everyone, but in performance, handling and tech, it womps pretty much everything Harley has. The only reason I didn't buy one was because it's a first-year product. No, thank you. Been there, done that. The bike is pretty amazing, but the looks turn a LOT of people off.
