I just returned to my Tucson office from Ruidoso NM ,,, I was looking at the Golden Aspen rally to see if it has grown to the size and the facilities have improved enough for J&M to exhibit there next year ,,,,,, it is now 8:15PM Pacific time ,,,

so I did not see your post until tonight ,,,,,, but it sounds like UPS took your speakers to the wrong state for delivery ,, and it also sounds like more than one person in the J&Moffice is tracking them with UPS to get the mistake corrected and get the speakers delivered to your correct address right ? in any event I will get to the bottom of this tomorrow ,,,,

now do you expect J&M to send another set of speakers to you Next day air at our expense because UPS screwed up ? ,,,, the shipping charges would be almost as much as the speakers are worth and that makes no sense ,,,,,, what "I Think" we are doing is making sure that the speakers get to you asap without YOU having to do anything else ,,,,,

and I certainly apologize for this occurrence, it does not happenvery often ,,,, but it DOES happen ,,,,,

Now if this causes you to be so unhappy with J&M that you would post "J&M Sucks" on this forum ,,, and then the rest of the children on this board chime-in like I have read here ,,,,, then we do NOT want you as a customer, simple as that ,,,,,

J&M has been in business for 29 years and myself and the rest of our crew has always done our best to treat all of our customers the very best that we can, goingout of our way tohelp whenever we can,,,, but we must have sensible business guidelines that we follow ,,,,,,

you have been taking little personal jabs at me now for a few weeks ,,,, and it is actually quite comical your little running-foot icon and all ,,,,,

but I don't know who you are or what I have done to you, but let me tell you my friend, please come to the J&M trailer when you are at one of the nationalrallies and ask for me,,,,,,,,, you and I need to pass some "words of wisdom from the wise to the otherwise" ,,,,

sure I have been a bit of a salesman on this forum, that is my job ,,,, but J&M has the best product for your Harley, I make sure of that,,,, and I also put my money where my mouth is by being a full sponsor on this forum ,,,,,

In addition I spend a good deal of time responding to technical questions here when I have the right answers ,,,, along with showing the applicable products from the J&M product line that apply to the specific post ,,,,,,

I think it is a win-win situation for all, J&M sells a few items and the forum members get what I would consider decent technical advice on many issues ,,, and when the day comes, that idea is not working, then you all will either ask me to leave or I will go on my own ,,,,,

For the record I have done business with your company for years and I am very pleased with both your products and service. I hate someone feels they can't ride because a set of speakers were routed to the wrong place. I understand the frustration when something goes wrong with an order, but it's not the end of the world.

Right on John. I've been pleased with your products and have dealt with many sellers who certainly don't give a damn about their customers. UPS is what it is. They make mistakes, are slow to deliver etc, that are out of the control of both the seller and buyer.

But bad news is what sells newspapers, makes peoplerubberneck atwrecks, and pile on a seller bysome "poor customer" who doesn't take the time to think sensibly, but trys to get his 10 seconds of fame by flaminy you on the forum.

Keep up the great work. 'ppreciate your products, your sponsorship of the forum, and your sage advice to many here on technical questions.

I locked it because John was out of town and could not defend himself. The point had been made about the UPS problem. We didn't need several hundred posts about the problem. I knew John would be back soon and would take care of it.

I agree he should be able to defend himself. In fact, I think the original poster was out of line. Still, it would have looked better, to me, if he had responded there. Looked like a sponser was getting some privilages? I guess most do though!

I don't think the original author knew that John (J&M) is a sponsor here. I think I remember him asking who "John" was that we kept talking about. I have no problem with members warning other members about a bad company but I personally know that John does not run a bad company. Even if this incident would have been their fault it would not have made them a bad company unless they did this all the time. It's obvious by all the support that John gets here that this problem does not happen all the time.Now, since John is a sponsor here I wanted him to have the chance to defend himself. I know that if I was paying for advertising here and the members continued to attack me I'd think twice about renewing my sponsorship. John runs a great company. I've purchased his products myself. The dealership where I work sells his products. We need sponsors like John here on HDF. We started out with small companies as sponsors and have slowly worked our way up to major sponsors who do a lot for this site.

I agree. I have no idea if the original poster knows anything about JM. I was refering to locking the original post. I can say I'm surprised so many replied negatively towards JM. As an RF engineer, I don't always agree with some of the claims made by John, but I do think he is offering some of the best products I've found.

I can also say I have returned one (for exchange) and it was very easy and quick. As a business owner, I know what a PITA customers can be. I don't think I've ever told one I didn't want them (as a customer) but I have thought it!

No I do not expect anythng from you or your company that they haven't already done. This is all UPS problem and I was just pissed off and venting. After talking to you people on the phone(4 times) we all agree that UPS drop the ball on this. I look forward to getting the speakers installed and hearing some kick *** sound from the bike. I would like to apologize for flying off the handle at J & M, your sales people did everything they could but UPS is UPS and there is nothing you or I can do about that. Once again I look forward to hearing the new J & M speakers on my R/G and I hope they live up to everything that I have been told.
