I ended up putting the HD bar on the fairing it got so bad on my Black EG. You should see my lights and the lower fork legs. Looks like a research project for a science fair.
Like others have said, I take an old bath towell and soak it in hot water and lay it on the fairing, let it soak and the bugs just wipe off. Also I make sure to keep the fairing waxed before any long rides. This seams tro help.
Honda (...Oh Sh*t, did I just commit sacralidge?) makes a great cleaner. I usually spray it on and wait abou t5 minutes then just wipe em off. Nice and easy.
I also use Honda cleaner on my whole bike, I haven't washed it with water for at least 2 years. Spray on bugs & wait a short time & they come right off.
That cleaner everyone calls "Honda Cleaner" can now be purchased under another name. It is called Plexus. It works very well.
